LADIES BIBLE STUDY - THURSDAY, Dec 8th, 2011 @ PastorADrian & Miss Lacey's Home
If you are a lady and looking for a place where other Christian ladies
are gathering for the purpose of learning more about HAPPINESS IN THE
CHRISTIAN LIFE as a lady, come join Miss Lacey once a month at the
Pastor's home to go through a study entitled "The Secrets of a Happy
Heart". If you are tired of looking for truth to help you as a lady in
your walk with the Lord and only finding worldly philosophy, you will
definitely enjoy this study as it is 100% Biblically based. The
gathering together, praying together, and studying together will be
something you enjoy. If you want more information on dates, how to
sign up for the study, etc, please feel free to email Miss Lacey at
gloryuntogod@yahoo.com. Ladies, please feel free to join us this month
at Pastor Adrian and Miss Lacey's home.
PUBLIC MINISTRY - PASSING OUT TRACTS - Saturday, Dec 3rd, 2011 @ 2 PM - Aurora City Place Bus Station
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ said, "Go out into the highways and
hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled." It
is the duty of every Christian to publicly witness for Jesus Christ - this
Saturday we are going out to pass out Gospel tracts with a Christmas
message on them. Come join us this Saturday @ 2 pm.
NURSING HOME "CHRISTMAS SINGING" - DECEMBER 10TH, 2011 @ 11 AM - Life Care Center of Aurora
The Bible says, "Jas 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the
Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction,". The
Lord has opened a great door for us to minister at a nursing home. We
will be kicking off our ministry there on December 10th by allowing the
children to sing carols. In 2012 we plan on visiting this nursing home
regularly and sharing God's grace and truth through word and song!
MENS BIBLE STUDY / PRAYER MEETING & FELLOWSHIP - TUESDAY, Dec 13th, 2011 @ 6:30 PM - Pastor ADrian's Home
The Bible says that Jesus Himself told His disciples to "Come apart
and rest a while". We believe that it is important for our men to
"Come apart" from this world, and to have fellowship one with another
for the purpose of being challenged by God's word as well as to have
time together in fellowship. Guys, come with your open Bibles, ready
to pray, as well as to eat! We invite men to bring their sons as well.
This month Pastor Adrian is bringing a challenge to the men on the
subject of "Mountain Climbing".
MISSIONARY DAN LAVITA - WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 28th, 2011
At New Heights Baptist Church, we strive to be a "Missions Minded"
fellowship of believers. We are of the mindset that a true Bible Believing
church sees their role in winning the lost both at home in our community
AND abroad. Please come and join us this Wednesday night to learn more
about missions, and the mission field of Honduras from Bro Dan Lavita
who has a sincere desire to minister to reach the lost, establish churches,
and bless the church there in Honduras.
SUNDAY SCHOOL - EACH SUNDAY MORNING @ 10 AM
As a young church we have a consolidated adult/children's Sunday School class where Pastor Adrian is currently going through a series on "Basics for Believers" - this study focuses on the "basics" that as "followers of Christ" we should know doctrinally and furthermore be able to explain to others.
SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE - EACH SUNDAY MORNING @ 11 AM
Each Sunday morning at 11 am the word of God is preached unapologetically from the King James Bible. We believe that practical and personal preaching is something that is invaluable in the life of a believer. The word of God should stir you up and cause a change in your life that resonates beyond the four wheels of any church.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT SERVICE - EACH WEDNESDAY NIGHT @ 7 PM
Each Wednesday night at 7 pm we open up the word of God and do a verse by verse expository study of a book in the Bible. Currently we are looking at the book of I Thessalonians, which theme is the "2nd Coming of Jesus Christ and how it Affects the Life of a Christian". Come to what we have come to call "MEAT LOVERS NIGHT" as we delve into the meat of God's word, and go a little deeper!
